There was a surprise result when 58th rankedBorgomanero (2-2) won against higher ranked Stella EBK (5-3) 90-82 on Sunday. Stella EBK was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Borgomanero forced 19 Stella EBK turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Tommaso Taglione who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Angelo Bazan who added 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Alberto Ursi responded with 28 points and 8 rebounds and Bubacar Sarr produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 17 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
